Morocco 2026

Morocco Expedition – detailed description 2026

Back to the tour

Morocco is a place where you can fully experience real adventure: from the mountains across stony plains to the endless Sahara. This tour is not a rally or a race against the clock. It's about the joy of riding, reading the terrain and evenings somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

Daily stages: approx. 150–300 km (depending on terrain and conditions). Style: adventure vibes, photos, breaks, sightseeing, helping each other.

Where we'll ride

  1. 01

    East & Figuig

Start in eastern Morocco. First taste: gravel tracks, pistes and endless open space by the Algerian border.

  2. 02

Heading to Merzouga & Erg Chebbi

Across desert plains all the way to the dunes. Sand, rocks and the first real Sahara.

  3. 03

    Zagora desert pistes

Long off-road sections, minimal civilisation, navigating the landscape. Here you ride by the terrain and by experience.

  4. 04

    Lac Iriki & Foum Zguid

A dried-up lake, open space and riding wherever you want. One of the freest parts of the whole tour.

  5. 05

Ait Ben Haddou & Film Studios

A short stop in civilisation: an iconic mud-brick village and the surrounding film studios near Ouarzazate. More of a side note, but well worth seeing.

  6. 06

    Atlas & Todra

Back to the mountains. Rocky tracks, passes and the Todra Gorge. Here the terrain changes again and more technical riding begins.

  7. 07

Gorges de Jaafar & Col de Tizin Ait Hmed

One of the most beautiful mountain sections. Narrow gorges, mountain roads and stretches where asphalt alternates with rougher sections.

  8. 08

    North & Chefchaouen

A gradual move north. More tarmac, but still plenty to look at, finishing in the blue city of Chefchaouen.
